Product Description

A passenger e-rickshaw operates in conditions that shorten the life of every component on it: forty-degree ambient heat, dusty roads, three adults on board, and a driver whose income depends on the vehicle not stopping. The JNFN ANT 18ERB is an eighteen-series 60 V board built around that duty, with 120 A continuous output, a 1 A active balancing stage, and an optional remote immobiliser that lets an owner recover a vehicle or cut off a pack that has been taken out of service on credit.

The electrical challenge is overloading. A vehicle rated for two passengers carries four, on an unpaved road, in the afternoon heat, and the current limit becomes the thing that decides whether the trip finishes. The board handles that by deriving its current limit from measured temperature rather than a fixed table, so the pack delivers what it can in the cool of the morning and tapers in the afternoon instead of tripping a hard protection at the same point in every shift.

Key Features of the 18S 60V 120A Active Balance BMS
  • 60 V 18 Series 120 A Platform: Matched to the controller class used in passenger three-wheelers, with 250 A available for ten seconds when a loaded vehicle starts on an incline.
  • Temperature-Derived Current Limit: The available current follows measured cell and board temperature, which yields a usable shift in the morning and a controlled taper in the afternoon instead of an identical trip point all day.
  • Optional Remote Immobiliser: A GPS and 4G module can cut the discharge path on command, report pack position and log a history of trips, which supports fleet financing and theft recovery scenarios.
  • 1 A Active Balancing: Daily full charging with a low-cost charger produces meaningful spread over a season; the transformer stage corrects it inside the absorption window rather than leaving the weakest group to set the range.
  • Dust and Heat Packaging: IP65 sealed enclosure, coated control section and a heat spreader dimensioned for still air, because these packs sit under a bench seat with no forced cooling.
  • Audible and Visual Alarm Outputs: A buzzer driver and a warning lamp output give the driver an indication before the vehicle loses power, which matters when stopping in traffic is itself a hazard.
  • Service-Friendly Diagnostics: A Bluetooth link exposes per-cell voltage and the last fault snapshot to a phone, so a roadside diagnosis does not require opening the pack.

Applications

Passenger e-rickshaws and three-wheeler taxis running 60 V packs are the primary fit, particularly in operations where vehicles are financed and the lender wants a remote disable capability. The board also suits light cargo three-wheelers and small municipal utility vehicles.

Fleet owners use the trip history to distinguish a genuine pack fault from a vehicle that is simply being overloaded, which turns a recurring argument at the workshop into a data question.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Delivery includes the sealed board, a labelled harness, four NTC probes, a warning buzzer and a wiring card; the telemetry module is supplied as a separate line item. Boards are soak tested at elevated ambient temperature before packing.

Ordering Information

Ordering: single units for trials, fleet pricing from fifty. Telemetry provisioning, immobiliser logic and current limit curves can be aligned with the operator's policy before shipment.

A 24-month limited warranty covers the management board.
