Product Description

A sport electric motorcycle pack is the least forgiving environment a battery management board can be asked to work in. Cell count is high, the pack is small, current demand is measured in hundreds of amps, and the whole assembly sits between the rider's knees with almost no airflow. The JNFN ANT 24SPB is a 24-series 96 V board engineered for exactly that squeeze: 300 A continuous, 400 A for ten seconds, a 2.5 A transformer-based active balancing stage, and an eight-millimetre busbar path that keeps resistive heating out of the enclosure.

The balancing architecture matters more here than on a storage pack. A high-C-rate pack develops cell spread quickly, and a passive bleeder can only remove energy at a few hundred milliamps while the pack is being worked hard. An active stage moves charge from the strong cells into the weak ones during the same window, which keeps the pack from derating itself halfway through a session. The thermal model is written around a pack that starts a run at thirty-five degrees, not one that sits at ambient.

Key Features
  • 2.5 A Active Balancing per Channel: Energy is transferred between neighbouring cells through a transformer stage instead of being dissipated, so balancing continues in both directions and a spread introduced during a hard discharge is corrected rather than merely capped.
  • 300 A Continuous with 400 A Ten-Second Peak: An eight-millimetre tinned busbar and high-current terminal posts carry the load with margin, keeping terminal temperature below the point where a sealed enclosure starts to trap heat.
  • Thermal Derating Map Instead of a Hard Cut: Current is reduced in steps as cell and MOSFET temperature climb, so a rider loses top-end performance gradually rather than experiencing an abrupt shutdown at the worst possible moment.
  • CAN to the Vehicle Controller plus BLE to the Rider: The CAN port publishes pack voltage, current, state of charge and temperature to the motor controller, while the Bluetooth link feeds a phone application with per-cell detail for workshop diagnosis.
  • IP67 Potted Enclosure: Silicone potting, gasketed lid and sealed connectors mean the board survives rain, wheel spray and the pressure washer that follows a muddy track day.
  • Six NTC Channels: Four cell sensors and two board sensors feed the derating model, because a 24-series pack in a cramped enclosure has more than one hot region.
  • Pre-Charge Path for Controller Capacitors: An integrated resistor path brings the controller capacitance up before the main path closes, protecting the connector pins that otherwise erode after a few hundred power cycles.

Applications

Sport and performance electric motorcycles are the primary destination, including track-oriented builds where the pack is small and the controller is tuned aggressively. The board also suits high-power standing scooters and lightweight racing karts running 20 to 24 series packs.

Builders who later move from a 72 V to a 96 V configuration can reuse the same hardware, since the string range and protection thresholds are set through parameters rather than fixed in firmware.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Each unit ships potted and sealed, with a labelled balance harness, six NTC probes, a CAN service lead and a wiring card. Boards are load tested with a simulated race profile including a regeneration burst before packing, and the test record is filed against the serial number.

Ordering: Evaluation units available from one piece; production pricing from thirty units. Harness length, CAN identifier mapping and current limit can be configured against the vehicle drawing.

A 24-month limited warranty applies to the management board.
