Product Description
Forklift 25S 80V 350A Traction BMS — JNFN ANT 25ZFL for Warehouse Battery Packs

A warehouse forklift does not cycle twice a day; on a two-shift operation it cycles four or five times, often through opportunity charging that puts the pack into absorption for twenty minutes between tasks. Regenerative braking pushes current back at moments nobody schedules, and the truck spends its life in an aisle where a sudden shutdown blocks a gangway. The JNFN ANT 25ZFL is a 25 series 80 V traction board built for that pattern, with 350 A continuous, 700 A for ten seconds, dual contactor switching and a CANopen interface that forklift controllers can address directly.

Two details separate a traction board from a stationary one. The first is how it handles reverse current: regenerative braking on a loaded truck can push several hundred amps back into the pack at a moment when cells are already warm. The second is the cold store. A freezer aisle at minus twenty-five is a legitimate operating environment, and charge acceptance below zero is the difference between a usable truck and one that refuses to accept a charge on the morning shift. The 25ZFL addresses both with a temperature-gated charge profile and a heating output.

Key Features of the 25ZFL Traction BMS
  • 350 A Continuous with 700 A Ten-Second Surge: Dimensioned for loaded starts on a ramp and for the brief current spike when hydraulic lift begins under load.
  • CANopen DS301 Interface: Process data objects expose pack voltage, current, state of charge, temperature and alarm words in a standard object dictionary, so the truck controller can map the pack without a proprietary driver.
  • Regenerative Current Handling: The charge path accepts reverse current up to the board rating with a thermal model that accounts for a pack already at operating temperature, instead of treating regeneration as an exception.
  • Cold Store Charge Control: A dedicated heating output and a programmable charge lockout keep the pack from accepting current below freezing, then release the block once the cells are back inside the window, which is what makes a freezer aisle deployment practical.
  • Dual Contactor with Weld Detection: Two contactors in series with feedback monitoring detect a welded contact at power-down, preventing a truck from being left with a live traction bus.
  • Opportunity Charging Profile: A fast-charge mode permits higher charge acceptance up to a configurable state of charge and then tapers, matching how depots actually charge between shifts rather than how a datasheet assumes they do.
  • Event Log and Hour Meter: Delivered ampere-hours, cycle count and the last fault snapshots are stored locally, giving maintenance a factual basis for pack replacement decisions.

Applications

Counterbalance and reach trucks in warehouse and cold store operations are the primary fit, along with pallet trucks and tow tractors that share an 80 V traction architecture. The board also suits ground support equipment at airports and port yard vehicles running similar voltages.

Fleet managers converting from lead acid value the delivered ampere-hour meter because it converts an intuitive capacity comparison into a documented one, and the cold store functions make a lithium conversion viable in facilities that previously stayed on lead acid for temperature reasons.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

The unit ships with the board, contactor harness, pre-charge assembly, four NTC probes, a CANopen object dictionary reference and a wiring diagram. Every board is load tested with a simulated traction profile including a regeneration burst.

Ordering: Evaluation units from one piece, fleet pricing from twenty. Object dictionary adaptation, harness routing and truck-specific mounting can be aligned before shipment. A 24-month limited warranty covers the management board.
