Product Description

A solar pumping station in a remote field is a maintenance problem disguised as an electrical one. The controller sits in a metal box under direct sun, the pack cycles twice a day between full and empty, dust settles on every surface, and the nearest technician may be a two-hour drive away. The JNFN ANT 32ZPB is a 20 to 32 series board built for that reality: a 120 V working ceiling, 170 A continuous, an operating window that starts at minus twenty-five, and a Modbus register map that lets the pump variable frequency drive read pack state directly instead of through a gateway.

Most failures in this application are not cell failures. They are coordination failures: the pump keeps drawing after the pack has reached its low threshold, or the array keeps charging into a pack that is already cold, or the dry-run protection on the pump trips because the pack voltage sagged below a threshold that nobody configured. The 32ZPB exposes separate low-voltage warning, low-voltage cutoff and recovery thresholds with independent time delays, so the pump controller can be told to slow down before it is told to stop.

Key Features
  • 120 V Ceiling across 20 to 32 Series: One board covers 24 V to 120 V string configurations, which lets a builder standardise on a single part number across a pumping portfolio instead of carrying four.
  • Modbus RTU with Documented Register Map: Cell voltages, temperature, current, state of charge and alarm words sit in a published register block, so a pump drive or a PLC can be programmed against the document rather than by trial and error.
  • Three-Stage Under-Voltage Strategy: Warning, derating and cutoff thresholds each carry an independent delay, which keeps the pump running at reduced speed through a passing cloud instead of stopping and waiting for a manual restart.
  • Wide Temperature Operation: The board is specified from -25 °C to +60 °C, with charge current progressively limited below 0 °C and balancing suspended at the extremes, because a field cabinet is never at room temperature.
  • Dust and Spray Sealed: IP65 enclosure with a gasketed lid and coated control section; the terminal block accepts field wiring without opening the sealed compartment.
  • Surge-Tolerant Inputs: Sense and communication lines are protected against the transients that arrive on long field cabling, a failure mode that quietly destroys unprotected boards during the first storm season.
  • Optional Remote Telemetry: A 4G module can report daily energy throughput, fault history and pack state to a dashboard, which turns a two-hour drive into a remote check.

Applications

Agricultural and livestock water pumping is the core use case, whether the array drives a surface pump through a VFD or a submersible through a dedicated solar drive. The same board suits remote irrigation nodes, rural water supply stations and livestock watering points where the pack buffers a variable source.

Off-grid cabins and remote monitoring stations that run 96 V to 120 V strings can use the identical board, since the under-voltage staging and wide temperature range are equally relevant to a load that must not drop out overnight.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Delivery includes the sealed board, a potted NTC set, a field wiring terminal kit and a printed register reference; the full Modbus table is issued as a spreadsheet. Boards are soak tested across the temperature range before packing.

Ordering Information

Samples: available from one unit. Project quantities: from thirty units.

Pump drive presets, register addressing and harness length can be aligned to the drive vendor before shipment.

A 24-month limited warranty covers the management board.
