Product Description

A 30-series string sitting inside a rack cabinet behaves differently from the same cells bolted under a vehicle. Nothing moves, nothing vibrates, and the pack is expected to hold a steady state for years while a power conversion system pushes and pulls current around it. The JNFN ANT 30ZEC is built for that environment: a 21 to 30 series management board on a 19-inch tray, 200 A continuous, a 150 V ceiling, and a CAN interface that a PCS or an energy management controller can interrogate without a translation layer.

Cabinet integrators tend to select a management board last and then discover that its communication assumptions do not match the inverter. The 30ZEC removes most of that friction. Current, voltage, temperature, state of charge and alarm words are published in a fixed frame set at 500 kbps, with a Pylontech-style map available as an option, and the same data is mirrored on RS485 for the site controller. Dry contacts carry the two alarms that matter to a fire panel and to a cabinet door interlock.

Key Features of the 30ZEC High-Voltage Rack BMS
  • 150 V Working Ceiling: The board tolerates 30 series cells at full charge with margin left for a cold morning voltage rise, so a 96 V or 108 V string sits comfortably inside the design window instead of tripping at the top of the absorption phase.
  • 150 mA Temperature-Adaptive Balancing: Balancing duty is gated by cell temperature and by the charge state, which keeps the bleed resistors from cooking the board in a sealed cabinet on a rooftop. Balancing is deliberately passive here, because a stationary rack pack with modest cell spread does not justify the cost of a transformer array.
  • CAN Plus RS485 in Tandem: The CAN port faces the converter, the RS485 port faces the site controller, and both stay live. Alarm words, per-cell voltages and cumulative ampere-hours are identical on both links, so commissioning does not require choosing which system gets the truth.
  • 4U Tray with Front Terminal Access: Terminals, DIP address switches and the service port all sit on the front face, so a technician can address a module or reseat a harness without sliding the tray out of a live cabinet.
  • Voltage Sensing Within 10 mV: Per-cell measurement is accurate enough to distinguish a genuine 30 mV drift from measurement noise, which is what makes a passive balancing threshold meaningful in the first place.
  • Under 2 mA Sleep Current: A cabinet that sits idle for a month must not drain a module into an undervoltage trip; the sleep path was dimensioned for that scenario rather than treated as an afterthought.
  • Firmware Profiles per Project: Cell chemistry, string count, current limit and alarm thresholds are set at the factory against the module drawing, and a service tool allows a field change without returning the unit.

Applications

Commercial and industrial storage cabinets are the primary destination, whether the module is a 96 V string in a 30 kWh cabinet or a 108 V string in a containerised system. The board also suits photovoltaic self-consumption systems where a high-voltage string feeds a hybrid inverter, and backup cabinets in telecom shelters that have moved away from 48 V architectures.

Integrators building their own cabinet frame value the fixed frame set because it shortens the commissioning loop: the converter vendor and the site controller can be tested against the same register content before the cabinet leaves the workshop.

Packaging and Quality Assurance

Each tray ships with the management board mounted on its carrier, a labelled balance harness set, four NTC probes, a service cable and a wiring diagram. Every board is function tested against a simulated 30-series string, and the test record is filed against the serial number.

Ordering: single units are available for prototype cabinets, and project pricing applies from fifty modules. Cabinet-specific harness lengths, terminal orientation and inverter protocol presets are configured before shipment. A 24-month limited warranty covers the management board.
